What natural things are there to help me quit smoking?
I want to quit smoking and I’m allergic to the patch. I wanted to know what are some natural ways to quit smoking like stuff at the health food store and stuff like that. I have heard of the St. John’s Wort but I also wanted to keep looking. I can’t quit cold turkey. I have tried at that several times and I failed.
Lobellia. My mother had a hard time quitting, and this really helped. It tricks the brain into thinking its nicotine, but there are no side affects. You can get it at a health food store, buy the drops, not a powder or anything else. Take it directly or in juice etc. You use 3-10 drops, throughout the day. It tastes like tobacco ![]()
It also relaxes muscles and (well, with me anyway) makes you happy.
I have never smoked myself, but I bought it for my mother and she uses it. She keeps a small dropper-bottle in her purse for on-the go use.
Try not to smoke anything, not an herb to help you quit or nothing. Smoking is a habit of the mouth, and most people who try to smoke an alternative, dont always quit right, or go back to the habit years later. And smoking anything still will damage the lungs, so quit slowly, my mom did it in over 2 1/2 weeks.

What are some fun activities for kids to help their parents quit smoking?
Ok well my parents are smokers and in health we are learning about smoking. I have a little sister and I am wanting to help my parents quit smoking. So what are some activities that kids can use to help their parents quit smoking. So please help me and Thank you very much.
There’s nothing you can do about them smoking. You can voice your concerns but that doesn’t mean they will quit. They have to make up their minds to do it themselves. Go ahead and voice your concerns, though.

What are the best methods to quit smoking?
my fiancee really wants to quit smoking for me and wants me to write up a plan on ho he can do it, but i’ve never smoked so i don’t know how to quit it! Help!
TELL him to pretend that the cigarette is a penis when he’s sucking on it, then he’ll get grossed out and quit because smoking is gay.
How come you get depressed when you quit smoking?
Is it an actual side effect of nicotine leaving your body? I have quit smoking a million times and usually find myself lighting back up cause I can’t stand the misery.
But this time i’ve lasted over a month. I feel great. I’m not depressed anymore. Tho i’ve had heaps of bad shit happen to me while trying to quit, i’m pretty happy.
But my poor husband gave up smoking 4 days ago. And he’s miserable. Everything to him is negative. I hate to see him this way. I was that way too!
Is there anything to help him not be depressed. Or do you just have to get through those evil 2 weeks without smoking and it will go away. Is there a magic vitiman?
When you are a regular smoker your brain gets used to the nicotine. Once you quit it creates a chemical imbalance in your brain because you took away a chemical that has become part of the regular system. This most likely causes headaches, depression, and cravings. It is also why using gum and other methods that have some nicotine in them help people quit. It reduces the amount of nicotine slowly over time to help the brain functions learn to balance and operate without the nicotine. I would recommend just using one of those systems offered in drug stores or use your own such as going from say a pack a day to half a pack for a week then a quarter of a pack for the next week to 2 a day for a week to one a day for a week then one every other day for a week to none. This way the brain should balance out and he should be much healthier and happier! Good Luck!
